Hero’s Mission: Jog-A-Thon

Are you ready to accept this year’s mission to raise money for your school while earning the chance at amazing prizes? Our goal this year is for each class to raise $600, if everyone collects $30 we shall meet this goal. The Jog-A-Thon has …been a fundraiser for SW grades K-5 for over 20 years. This is SWEPTA’s largest and primary fundraiser for the year.

·         September 30th through October 13th Get Pledges With the help of a parent, students ask friends, family & neighbors to make a pledge. They can pledge a flat donation or a donation per lap. Pledge form to use is attached.

·         October 13th Jog-A-Thon Day Bring your Jog-A-Thon pledge form to school and turn into your teacher. Wear good running shoes and be ready to run, jog, walk and have a blast! During lunch recess students will complete as many 1/8 mile laps as they can. Parent volunteers will tally their laps and fill out the remainder of their sheet, attach an envelope to their pledge sheet and send it back home on 10/14.

·         October 14th through October 22nd Go Collect those Pledges With the help of parents. Students collect all remaining pledges/donations and return them to their teacher in a sealed envelope with their pledge form to qualify for raffle entries and classroom prizes. Remember you help win a pizza party for your class or an awesome prize for yourself!
